Starting as a small watch shop tucked away in a little street in Hong Kong back in 1994, 32° Watches slowly but steadily grew a loyal customer base by basing our business on exceptional service and competitive prices. Orders grew to a point where we were getting watches direct from distributors at wholesale prices, and we needed to have a service centre where customers could get their watches serviced or repaired on the spot, without going through the hassle of needing us to send the watches back to the manufacturers for repairs.
That was when we realised that a manufacturer's warranty was a white elephant we didn't need. By doing away with offering a manufacturer's warranty, we were not bound by manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP), and could offer much more competitive prices for our valued customers, while providing the same, if not better, customer service.
This business model has served us and our customers well, and the result is what you see on our site today. We may have grown to be one of the largest designer watch dealers around, but at heart, we will always be that small shop in the corner where customers are more than just customers.
